I’m also going to go ahead and just throw this out there, if you’re looking for a clean romance novel with minimal hotness, you’re going to want to stop right here. J For real though, Impassioned is about an eleven on a scale of one to ten for smexy (that’s smart plus sexy) characters and mega steamy scenes.
What Is Impassioned About?
Instead of just plopping the synopsis in right here, I thought I’d let my two main characters, Harper and Ethan, share what Impassioned is about in their own words.
In My Words – A Synopsis of Impassioned by Harper:
Impassioned is the true story of how I got over my ex, met the love of my life, and then, how my world changed in an instant.
We start out with my heart shattered into a million pieces by my ex-boyfriend, and when I say, “shattered,” I mean obliterated. I thought we were the perfect couple. I thought we were going to stay together forever. Boy of boy was I wrong.
After telling me we needed “time apart,” I wanted to curl up into a little ball and I really thought I would cry all summer long. Luckily, my best friend knew I needed to get out and get my ex off my mind. Agreeing to go out one fateful night out with the girls, I met him. I met Ethan Sawyer.
Talk about amazing first impressions. Smokin’ hot, polite, and he liked to dance? He couldn’t get any more attractive to me. It only took a few days and I can honestly say, I fell in love and I fell hard.
Now, this is totally going to make me blush, but the sex… OMG the sex! Hot doesn’t even begin to do it justice. It’s like our bodies were made for each other. I’ve never wanted somebody more then I wanted Ethan.
The rest of the summer flew by with Ethan by my side. We did everything together. I loved him and he loved me.
Then, came time to say goodbye. I had an amazing internship set up long before I met Ethan. Even though it was out of state, it would only last a few months. I convinced myself that we would be fine… I convinced myself that I had met the man of my dreams… Then in an instant, everything changed.

Have you ever met someone that literally took your breath away? Have you ever met someone that made it feel like time was stopping around you and flying by all at the same time? For me, that someone was Harper.
I still remember the first time I laid eyes on her. I was out at a bar with a bunch of my friends, when in walks the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Blonde hair, eyes the color of the Caribbean Sea, and an athletic build, she was the girl of my dreams.
I’m not normally nervous around women, but Harper changed all of that. After gathering the courage to talk to her at the bar, she somehow manages to spill an entire glass of water on her shirt. She was totally mortified and wanted to go home. Somehow, I managed to convince her to stay. After talking to her for five minutes, I knew she was something special.
Now, as if her beauty and kindness weren’t enough, our chemistry between the sheets was off of the charts. The things we did were just unreal. Her tits, her ass, her everything was perfect. I felt like I was sleeping with a super model.
Then, she had to leave. Her internship was only a few months, but I couldn’t bear to think about her being so far away. I would have done anything to keep her there with me, but then, in an instant, everything changed.
