I'm Mia Hoddell, author of the #1 Amazon bestselling series Seasons of Change, Elemental Killers, and False Finder. Today I thought I'd interview two of my characters from my contemporary romance Spring Knight, tell you a little about my books, and put them on sale so you can all grab a bargain.
A big thank you to Apryl for organising this blogfest again!
I hope you enjoy my stop.

Meet the Characters
Mia: Hi everyone, today I have with me Kayleigh and Aiden from my fourth standalone novella, Spring Knight. They’ve kindly allowed me to interview them for you.
Aiden: Hi everyone, great to be here!
Kayleigh: Hello.
Mia: So, Kayleigh, it’s safe to say your relationship had an unusual start. What did you think when he first showed up in your drama rehearsal?
Kayleigh: Um … I think I was a little more worried by the fact I was about to jump off a platform really. It did cross my mind why he was there, but most of my attention was on not breaking my neck.
Aiden: She scared the hell out of me, that’s for sure.
Kayleigh: When I finally found out the reason, though, I thought it was a wind up. He’s not the type to audition for the university’s production.
Mia: No, he definitely isn’t. Were you surprised when he noticed you?
Kayleigh: Of course. I mean I’m not someone people notice very often. I don’t like being the centre of attention unless I’m on stage, and he’s a big name on campus. It made me feel uneasy.
Aiden: [puts his arm around her shoulders and pulls her against him] She made me work for her, which was a first. I’ve never had someone say no to me, but she’s worth all of the effort and more.
Mia: Well now you’ve brought it up, what was that like? And how long did you know that Kayleigh was the one for you?
Aiden: I can’t reveal everything, can I? That would ruin my reputation. I think a guy’s entitled to some secrets.
Mia: Okay, I guess the readers will just have to pick up your book to find out. My next question is, what was it like being in the show?
Aiden: Terrifying. I’m not usually one to admit when I’m scared, but being on that stage—just the thought even—made me want to puke. It did give me a newfound respect for Kay. I honestly don’t know how she does it.
Kayleigh: It’s not that bad. And anyway, it serves you right for not being able to turn down a challenge. He did great, though; you wouldn’t have known it was his first time.
Aiden: And last.
Mia: You can’t see yourself ever up there again, Aiden?
Aiden: Hell no, not if I have anything to do with it! I’ll support Kay in the audience from now on.
Kayleigh: [looking at him with a devilish smile] What if I bet you two hundred pounds you can’t do it again?
Mia: Are you sure you know what you’re doing, Kayleigh?
Aiden: I’d listen to her if I were you. You know I don’t turn down money, and you know I always win.
Kayleigh: Prove it then. I bet you two hundred pounds that you won’t perform in the next university production.
Aiden: You’re on, but you’re going to lose.
Kayleigh: Really? I control who gets cast. [she laughs at his shocked expression as he tries to respond]
Mia: I think she’s beaten you there, Aiden.
Aiden: Yeah, she probably has, but I have my ways of convincing her to do things. [turns to Kayleigh] Remember what happened last time you tried to trick me?
Kayleigh: You don’t scare me anymore, Aiden. I know all of your
weaknesses. [he moves to kiss her]
Kayleigh: You don’t scare me anymore, Aiden. I know all of your weaknesses. [he moves to kiss her]
Mia: Okay, I think that’s all we’ve got time for guys. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you let him perform, Kayleigh. I’d love to see him play a fairy godmother.
Kayleigh: [laughing] That’s a brilliant idea!
Aiden: Thanks, Mia … really … just thanks … [groans]
Mia: No problem, Aiden. I’m always happy to help out. Good luck!
