I'm so excited to share some of my fun stuff from my new adult paranormal romance full of action-packed adventure.
Cora is thrilled to leave high school behind and kick start her summer with her boyfriend and best friend, Nessa. In an unexpected turn of events, tragedy strikes and Cora turns to Nessa for help.
Cora and Nessa discover they are not alone and become entangled in things much bigger than they expect. As the two of them meet new allies, it’s obvious that clearing Cora’s name and going home seem like the least of their worries. The further they travel; the more complicated their lives become. Someone is after them and they are just getting started.
Excerpt:
“He’s not gone,” I whispered.
“He’s not gone,” I repeated, despite the growing feeling of desperation.
There was blood everywhere, so much blood. Dark red splatters surrounded me, staining my creamy skin with a brush of crimson. The blood, dark and sticky, caked around and underneath my fingernails as I checked for his pulse. Flakes of red chipped away in flecks as they began to dry.
Melancholy gothic music floated through the air. A chill raced down my spine and I suppressed a shiver, closing my eyes against the image that would forever haunt me. His eyes were so empty, frozen in shock. Blood had swelled from the back of his head from a large gash. A nearby statue was covered in dark red blood, the source of the deathly blow.
I felt a hollow ache in my chest and tears formed in the corners of my pain-stricken eyes. I grappled for my cell phone on the table and tried to get ahold of myself. Grasping the sticky cell phone, I punched in the emergency numbers.
I swallowed hard and said as calmly as possible, “There’s been a murder. I don’t know what happened. The address is two-two-zero-three Devonshire Court.”
I hung up the phone with an audible click and dropped it with a clatter on the tile. Sinking down to the stained floor, I sobbed until there were no more tears left. Soon, my clothes fluttered to the ground. I dissolved into thin air, flecks of red swirling around me in a small cloud.

Announcement!!!
I'm also excited to announce that Detour (Dissolve #2) will be out early summer! It's chalked full of answers to the many questions in the first book, as well as twists you wouldn't expect! (I MAY actually love it more than Dissolve...)
**WARNING** Spoilers ahead! Don't read if you haven't read Dissolve first!
Cora and her friends have several detours on their search for answers. As they get closer to finding real answers about their genetically altered states and the mass bombings, the answers will be found in the last place they expected. They must learn to trust each other and put their faith in other people just like them to get themselves out of trouble as the answers grow more complicated. If only Cora could dissolve away from this mess, but she can't leave anyone behind.
A conversation between Noah and Cora in Detour:
**(This excerpt is unedited)
Their eyes got wide and I knew the questions would come this time. Noah was the first to pepper me with them. “You found a way out of here? How did you end up there in specific? It seems like a strange coincidence. Are you sure you’re alright? No bumps to the head I hope.”
I tossed in some sarcasm to Noah’s suggestion. “Yes, Noah, I bumped my head. Then I fell down the rabbit hole, ended up in Wonderland and drank tea with the mad hatter. Gah, this is serious stuff I’m trying to tell you.”
