My Crazy Corner

Hi Everybody! So nice to be here at My Crazy Corner! Many thanks to Apryl for inviting me.

I’m Kimberley Griffiths Little and I’m a Middle-Grade AND Young Adult writer with my recent MG (Tweener) just released from Scholastic. Emotional, gripping, intense family stories with *magical realism*. Raise your hand (I mean comment!) if you love magical realism in your books.
My debut YA trilogy, FORBIDDEN, will release Fall 2014 with Harpercollins so stay tuned! There is a cover shoot with a model and lots of sexy dresses going on right now as we speak! It’s about belly dance, goddess temples and a steamy, forbidden romance. Plus tribal warfare and murder. Oooh, la, la.

I’ve been writing since I was a kid, I gobbled a book a day, and the best day is when I get to read a book AND write my own! I love toddler hugs, castles, and chocolate chip cookies. Any order. Oh, and my husband, LOL. I grew up in San Francisco but live in New Mexico in a beautiful spot right on the Rio Grande on a dirt road. I’ve traveled to the Middle East, Scotland, France, Bulgaria, Turkey, England, and Hawaii and have three sons that keep me hoppin’.

Everybody thinks Tara Doucet has the perfect life. As the letters grow more ominous and the clues harder to decipher, Tara realizes that the secrets she must uncover could lead to grave danger. And when Tara and Riley are swept away to the beautiful islands of Chuuk to hear their grandmother’s will, Tara discovers the most shocking truth of all, one that will change her life forever. A magical, breathtaking mystery full of loss and love, family and faith.
