May 25th
Only ten days to go… Ten days until my Junior year is over. Ten days until Kai graduates. Why does it feel like everything is moving so fast and so slow all at the same time? Grrr! I’m lost…

June 3rd
TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Summer break here I come! T-Minus 65 days until Kai leaves for college. Ugh…

June 4th
It’s official. I’m a Senior and I’m going to THE PARTY of the century! Too bad it’s at Jocelyn MacIntyre’s house. She is such a brat! At least Parker and Taliyah (picture below is from spring break – they’re a mess) will be there. OMG, what am I going to wear tonight?

June 4th
Part Two: My brother Jax is the life of the party… As always! I’m going to miss him next year. Will he come home to visit?

June 5th
My life has changed. Everything is different. I went to stupid Jocelyn’s party, found out my best friend has been hooking up with Kai behind my back, got lost in the woods, ran into an exchange student named Ryder (literally), was chased by a terrifying monster, and ended up in Necoh (another world). I must be dreaming. There’s no way this is real. I’m scared. I hope I wake up from this nightmare soon.

June 6th
It isn’t a nightmare. It’s real. Ryder isn’t an exchange student… He grew up in a world called Necoh. He travels between his world and mine by drinking some indigo colored liquid and jumping under moonbows. Yeah, as in a rainbow at night. Grishma is real too. Ryder told me that when he was a boy, Grishma killed his father and kidnapped his mother and sister. He’s be tracking Grishma ever since. He wants to kill the beast and find his family. Ryder is going to help me get home. I still can’t believe this is real…

June 8th
I’m shaking so hard I can barely write. I didn’t make it home. Grishma found me and took me. I managed to get away by jumping in the Swive River. A huge octopus like thing attacked me and I almost drowned. I’m so scared! I just want to go home. I want to hug my parents and my brother. I want to go to sleep in my bed and forget this ever happened!

June 9th
I met some… creatures (I guess that’s what they are) today from the Tribe of Topher. They welcomed me to their village and gave me food. They said they’d help me. I’m nervous it’s all an act. What if they want to roast me for dinner? The strangest thing isn’t their appears though… it’s that they keep calling me Princess Sophie. Apparently I look like someone in the royal family down here. I hope they can help me find Ryder again. I don’t know if anyone else besides Grishma knows how to help me get home. What if I’m stuck here forever? What am I going to do?

June 10th
Things have gone from bad to worse! One of the tribesmen who goes by the name of Laro drugged me and brought me to the King of Sumner. Everyone keeps calling me Princess Sophie! I’m stuck in the castle. I don’t think I’ll be able to write any more without getting caught. Please, please, please, let me wake up from this nightmare!

Grishma Synopsis:
In the world of Necoh, everyone fears Grishma, a hideous murderous beast responsible for ruining or ending the lives of anyone who dare cross her.

As a young boy, Ryder lived with his family, deep in the caves underneath the Kadin Forest, unaware of the horrors of the world. His simple world was turned upside down one horrible night when Grishma attacked his family, killing his father and kidnapping his mother and younger sister.

From that night on, Ryder devoted his life to killing Grishma. He tracked the monster from Necoh, to our world, and back again. Unfortunately, during his quest, he accidentally transported Brooklyn, a high school junior into his tumultuous world, where she is mistakenly identified as Princess Sophie, the missing princess of Sumner.

Days after Princess Sophie’s return, Grishma plots and manipulates the King into drugging and marrying off his only daughter to Prince Algid of Dratun. Desperate to save Brooklyn, who now believes she is the long lost princess, his mother, and his little sister, Ryder embarks on the deadliest part of his quest.

Will he save Brooklyn? Will she ever regain her memory? What will become of his mother and sister?

Through epic adventure, loss, and love, GRISHMA depicts the strength of the human spirit and the tight bonds formed by the unique creatures of Necoh.
