An education (or introduction) to all things Caleb Jacobson—the reason you need to read the Significance Series.
Number one would have to be that if you haven’t started the series yet, the first book is FREE on all venues right now so go snatch it up!
Number two would have to be that he says completely swoonworthy things like this:
“Because you are my significant, my soul mate. And I'm yours.”
“It's rooted in my blood to consume you and be consumed by you. To protect you. To please you, in every way. To make you shiver when I touch you. To cause your heart to beat faster.”
“In the words of some really beautiful smart girl I know, just give me what I want."
“I’ve thought about…marrying you….ever since you first touched me and I knew you were mine.”
"The sound of your heartbeat is my favorite sound in the whole world."
And then funny things like this:
“Gran, I'm only gonna ask this once. Please don't have sex talks with me, ok? Especially with Maggie in the room. Do you think we could do that?”
“Awesome, because,” he let our lips graze, “as good as you taste, green eyes, I need some real food.”
You're going to make me kiss you in front of all these people”.
Number three is that the series has been optioned for a TV show and the guy in the teaser photos above is hilariously funny and perfectly-abbed YouTuber Justin James Hughes and he is actually going to be Caleb in the show. He was voted People Magazines ‘one to watch’ this year so we are so excited to have him on board. If you are looking for ways to meet the cast at SUPERCON this year, along with all the other amazing actors and people who attend SUPERCON in Miami in June, where they’ll be premiering some exclusive footage from the pilot there, HERE is a way where you can enter to WIN a trip to come and hang out with us there.
So, Caleb Jacobson starts the series walking around the city in Tennessee. He stops at a crosswalk, earbuds in ears, Cage the Elephant playing loudly, bobbing his head to the music. He notices a girl behind him checking her phone but tries not to pay too much attention because, for him and his kind, you have to wait for you significant, your soulmate. But it was hard for him not to notice Maggie Masters. He tried however, but he tried so hard that he almost gets hit by a truck that doesn’t stop as it’s turning at the red light. Maggie pulls him back, saving him. He lands on top of her, but in cold Tennessee with Vols sweatshirts and cute green pocket jackets, their skin never touches.
It’s high school graduation night for Maggie. It’s the reason he’s in town. He learns that she on her way to a date with his cousin! So he decides to walk her there. He has, in fact, heard about this girl since his cousin has been ‘in love’ with her for some time. But when they finally say goodbye, finally get to touch hands…
“It’s you,” he whispered in wonder. “You’re the one.”
And that’s when all hell in the Virtuoso world breaks loose. Their rivals find out, his crazy, wonderful family wants to meet her and embarrass him, and their life starts together, whether her human father wants it to or not.
And this series is pretty fun, if I do say so myself, because you can just read the first 5 (4 ½) books if you want to and be done with Caleb and Maggie’s story, completely wrapped up. OR you can pick up Consequence which begins the new spin-off and carries over to their children and continues with the family. Undeniably Chosen is their daughter Ava’s story. Though the story does get wrapped up in Independence, it’s a very ominous and foreboding “wrapping-up”. You’ll see why when you read. Couldn’t be helped. So not only are we continuing on with their children and their family getting their significant, but we get to continue on with that part of the story as well and get more closure.
